Abstrakt: This article provides an analysis of the prefixal-suffixal adjectival lexical units found in names of uninhabited places on the territory of Bohemia. The individual lexical units are derived both from common-noun and proper-name bases. The author deals with the repertory of the prefixes used, as well as the competition between the suffixes -ský, -ní and -ný. The geolinguistic point of view shows that the lexical units analysed occur most frequently in minor place-names of southwest and northeast Bohemia.
