Knihy a dějiny
The journal Knihy a dějiny [Books and History] is a scientific peer-reviewed periodical issued annually by the Library of the Czech Academy of Sciences since 1994. It focuses on the publication of the results of research into the history of Czech book culture until the mid-19th century. Besides source-based and material studies, the journal publishes reviews and reports on domestic as well as foreign literature and provides information on subject-related conferences and events. The main language of the journal is Czech. Since 2020 the key study is published in English translation. The abstracts, keywords and summaries of the peer-reviewed studies are translated to English.
