Abstrakt: The article deals with the treatise on the introduction of the Feast of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, preserved under the title Institucio festivitatis Visitacionis beate Virginis Marie in two 15th-century manuscripts of the Wrocław University Library (shelf marks I F 621 and IV Q 103). Based on the results of textual, palaeographical, and codicological analysis of both manuscript records of the work, the authors present the structure and content of the examined text, identify the sources from which it was compiled, describe the working methods of the anonymous compiler, and reflect on the circumstances under which both the treatise itself and its surviving copies may have originated.
