Abstrakt: The paper deals with the changes in scientific discourse in some Slavic languages over the last thirty years, i.e., at the time when it can be assumed that Slavic scholarly articles have been influenced by Anglo-Saxon scientific discourse. The articles published in Czech, Slovak, Polish and Russian linguistic journals (Slovo a slovesnost, Jazykovedný časopis, Stylistyka and Voprosy jazykoznanija) from the early 1990s (1990–1994) and from the years 2019–2023 were used for comparative analysis. The analysis was focused primarily on the projection of authorial, or even readerly, subjects into the text. In this period, the projection of subjects into the text has not changed very clearly. Impersonal expression or authorial plurals prevail among most authors (mainly Russian and Slovak ones). The authorial singular, which is associated with Anglo-Saxon scholarly texts, is to some extent (but not very strongly) established in Czech and Polish articles; some authors already use the authorial singular exclusively, but the domain of more personal formulations remains the introductory and concluding parts of texts and footnotes (especially those used to express thanks). In contrast, significant changes in the segmentation of texts were indicated: in the more recent period, the editorial policy seems to have adopted the Anglo-Saxon journal style, the scope of the studies has increased and they are clearly divided by numbered headings on several levels.
