Abstract: At the end of March 2024, a single silver coin was found during a metal detector survey in a forested area within the municipal territory of Boharyně. The coin was identified as a 10th century Bavarian denier. This find represents another example of a Bavarian denier discovered on the territory of Bohemia, minted prior to the introduction of local coinage.
